Picnic Areas

Wickham Park offers five pavilion and two medium sized picnic areas available for rental from April through October.  They range in size from 30 person capacity to 225 person and multiple areas can be combined to accommodate larger groups.  Charcoal grills, trash receptacles, and recycling are included with all areas.  All five pavilions also include horseshoe pits any you are welcome to use outside catering of our choice.

All of the Pavilions and Beech Grove picnic areas are in the vicinity of the sports facilities, which include:
A scenic 18-hole disc golf course
5 tennis courts
2 volleyball courts
2 softball diamonds
These sports facilities are available on a first-come, first-served basis.


WICKHAM PAVILION

Wickham Pavilion

This area has a 225-person capacity. Its pavilion will shelter 100 people. Picnic tables both under and around the pavilion are included. Two large charcoal grills (36’X42″), two sets of horseshoe pits, electricity, and water are provided. Public restrooms are part of this pavilion. Garbage and recycling bins are provided.

Rental Cost: $200.00

WILLIAMS PAVILION

This area has a 75-person capacity, and its pavilion shelters all of these people. Picnic tables are located under the pavilion and also included is water, electricity, horseshoe pits, and two large charcoal grills (28″ x 36″). The restrooms are approximately 100 feet away. Garbage and recycling bins are provided.

McGRAFT PAVILION

This area has a 125-person capacity and it’s pavilion will shelter 75 people. Two charcoal grills (28″x36″), picnic tables, horseshoe pits, garbage and recycling barrels are included. Restrooms are within 150 feet of McGraft Pavilion.

PINES PAVILION

This area has a 125-person capacity and it’s pavilion will shelter 75 people. Two charcoal grills (28″x36″), picnic tables, horseshoe pits, garbage and recycling barrels are included. Restrooms are within 250 feet of the Pines Pavilion.

LAUREL GROVE

This area has a 150-person capacity and its shelter protects 40 people. Picnic tables are located underneath and around the shelter. The area also provides one large charcoal grill (36″x42″) and horseshoe pits. The restrooms are within 200 yards walking distance. Garbage bins and recycling bins are also provided.

BEECH GROVE 4

These shaded areas each have a 60-person capacity. Picnic tables and one large charcoal grill (28″x36″) are available in each grove. The restrooms are within 100 – 150 feet walking distance. Garbage and recycling bins are also provided.
